ÇETİN AY, "POWER... IS BEING ABLE TO LET GO..."

Persistence is often ego, not principle.

Insisting on wrong is not strength; it is resistance to right.

Time alone does not produce value.

Persistence alone does not carry meaning.

Continuing in the wrong place does not make you grow; it tires you.

A person errs most in two places:

When they persist in wrong,

and when they don't let go at the right time.

Giving up is not weakness.

Giving up is not loss; it is cutting the burden.

What doesn't diminish becomes heavier.

Those who want to rise must accept diminishment.

Because time does not carry burdens.

A tree sheds its leaves; it is not defeated.

It protects its roots, it discards the excess.

You cannot fight the seasons.

You cannot defy the truth.

A balloon lets go of the sandbag; it doesn't fall, it rises.

Those who shed their excess weight become lighter.

A pruned vine does not weaken; fewer branches yield more grapes.

Strength wears out as it lengthens.

When measure is lost, reputation diminishes.

In politics, rising is leadership.

Giving up at the right time is a skill.

The hardest thing to let go of is ambition;

the desire to be right, the need for control, the passion for superiority.

A person gets most tired carrying these things.

The point isn't to possess, but to be able to lighten the load.

A person rises not with what they hold onto, but with what they can let go of.

It's not the one who doesn't give up, but the one who can give up who is strong.

If you don't let go of the breath you take,

you can't make room for the breath you will take.
